Lamb is a highly digestible protein source providing essential amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals for muscle development, energy, and coat condition. Amino acids and fatty acids are more readily available in lamb since it is not subjected to a high heat process. Lamb used in BLUE pet foods is New Zealand Free-Range lamb and is hormone, antibiotic and steroid free.

Carrots provide antioxidants and health protecting phytochemicals, vitamins and minerals. They are high in Vitamin A and carotenoids. Carotenoids are antioxidants providing protection against free radicals (cancer causing agents). The carrots used in BLUE dog and cat foods are whole fresh carrots sourced from approved USDA sources.
